The ongoing electricity crisis impacts the lives of Gazans

Dear PCHR family and friends,

As you might be aware of, over the past months, the electricity crisis in Gaza has deteriorated on an unprecedented scale. The latest Israeli-imposed restrictions have limited the electricity provision in Gaza to barely four hours a day, creating humanitarian catastrophe for its 2 million residents. Whereas hospitals and patients face the most severe impact, everyday life is on hold, as businesses, schools, supermarkets and private house are affected by it. PCHR is currently working on documenting the electricity crisis in a series of videos of people’s daily struggles in their hospitals, houses, factories, farmlands, etc…
